Carey Mulligan as Bathsheba Everdene
Thomas
Hardy’s ‘Far From the Madding Crowd’ is
one of my favorite fiction works. The protagonist, Miss Bathsheba Everdene is a
proud and independent woman who comes across as inspiring as well. This is also
an important feminist character in English literature. This portrait is of British
actress Carey Mulligan who played Bathsheba’s character in the movie based on
this novel (by the very same name).

Al Pacino (Colour Sketch)
Alfredo James "Al" Pacino, an American
actor and filmmaker, was born in Manhattan on April 25, 1940 to
Italian-American parents Salvatore Pacino and Rose, who divorced when he was
two years old. His mother then moved to live with her parents who,
coincidentally, had come from a town in Sicily named Corleone. Pacino is
well known for playing mobsters, especially Michael Corleone films and often appeared on the other side of the law—as a police officer, a
detective and a lawyer. Pacino won the Academy Award for Best
Actor at the 65th Academy Awards for his performance. Prior to his win he had received seven
Oscar nominations, including one that same year. Read more@ Wikipedia.
